Brain Implant Links Mind And Machine

Some scientists have implanted a tiny device in the brain of a monkey which apparently lets the monkey control the cursor on a computer screen just by thinking about it. The way they describe the tests this sounds pretty amazing, and I'm not quite sure I believe it really works yet. I would like to see some more work done on it. They say that this could eventually be used to allow people who are paralized or who cannot speak to communicate better. Personally, I'd like to use it to freak out people using computers nearby as I suddenly take mental control over their computer...
