Still Coding For Decades Old Game Consoles
from the always-a-challenge dept
While everyone seems focused on the latest and greatest gaming technologies, there's a group of folks who just can't let go of the past. They're still programming games for classic gaming systems like the Apple II, the Atari 2600 and the Commodore 64. They say they like doing it for the challenge of creating games with the constraints of those old systems. In fact, many seem to have day jobs programming games for modern systems, but still can't resist being able to create entire games themselves for the old systems.
