Enterprise Software No Longer Yahoo's Cup Of Tea

from the gone-nowhere dept

Remember when "enterprise portals" were a big deal? Back when Yahoo was struggling to figure out where they were going to make money as the online advertising market took its (temporary) hiatus, they had this vision of taking their "portal" technology and bringing it to the enterprise. They say they'll still be selling some enterprise products, with a focus on enterprise instant messaging, but it's certainly not going to be a big part of their business.
