Coca-Cola Music Site Experiences Technical Difficulties

from the let's-try-that-again,-shall-we? dept

Today was the big day that Coca-Cola was expected to be yet another brand to launch yet another online music download store - but it appears the site wasn't designed particularly well, as it failed as soon as the doors opened. You would think that a company as large as Coca-Cola would do a bit more testing before opening the doors. They also are claiming that they're the "the first consumer branded, legitimate downloadable music site", which Apple might take issue with.

  • Just STOP the Commercial

This is great news if they stop running that STUPID commercial they've been running before theatrical movies (right before the trailers).

Maybe I am too used to my TIVO, but these commercials they are slipping into the theater are annoying enough, but the Coke one for their music service was just HORRIBLE. And with the crowding of theaters during the December movie rush, it wasn't like you could show up late to miss it and still get a good seat.

Yeah, I suppose it's only a matter of time before they start offering "premium" showings of movies in the theaters without the commercials, for a mere 20 dollars a viewing.

  • Where can I get generic coke in the bay area?

    by dorpus

In the midwest or east coast, there were lots of interesting generic brands, often better than real coke. Real hard to find around here though.
