12 Year-Old's Anti-Plagiarism Tool Catches Its Own Creator In The Act
from the whoops dept
A twelve-year-old kid, looking to make sure he’s one of the least-well-liked kids in his classroom among the cheaters, has written up a hack that would let teachers run student papers against a Google check to catch plagiarism. Of course, in testing out the program, his teacher discovered that the program caught the very same 12-year-old who wrote the program in a bit of internet plagiarism himself. Guess he should have tested the program at home first on his own work.
