Apple Stores As Pickup Joints?

GMSV points us to a story saying that the SoHo Apple store in NYC has suddenly become a hopping singles place, as people try to pick each other up as they check their email. To be honest, this sounds like an effort by the store to bring in a bit more foot traffic. Of course, since they don't serve drinks, I guess you just need to buy the object of your affection a few tracks for their iPod.

Pick the Apple
Let's be honest -- most single guys think of the entire world as a pick-up spot, it's just some spots are better than others. If the SoHo Apple Store is frequented by a sufficient number of young, reasonably attractive women, then ipsp facto, it's a pick-up spot.
