Video Game System That Kicks Your...

from the literally dept

Force feedback devices in video games is nothing new at all. But, apparently, it's not enough for some people, who need to... well... kick it up a notch. Apparently, the latest video gaming accessory is a device called the Buttkicker that clamps on to your chair and provides a bit of force feedback to the chair to make your games that much more... shakingly real. Update: Okay, okay, I get it. Clearly, I need one of these to kick me, as this thing has been around for ages. The news article on it is new, however.

News is still new to people who haven't seen it before. If you've seen it before, great, then shut up and don't be insulting!!

Well, damn, I never heard of it. Can ya get corporate discounts? Sounds like a possible employee motivation tool: the butt kickings will continue until moral improves.

    The Gamer Version is new

    by Anonymous Coward

I've had a butkicker bolted into my floor joists for several years now, but the "Gamer" has just gotten out the door (although the gestation has been rather long. Watching movies with one is great--except maybe for chick-flicks.
