Companies Responding To Support Emails Now... But Also Leaking Your Info

from the good-news,-bad-news dept

It wasn't that long ago that we saw report after report after report about how e-commerce companies wouldn't respond to customer support emails (but did respond quickly to emails with sales questions). A new report says that the situation is greatly improved, with very few emails going unanswered. However, the price of that may be spam. It turns out that many of these companies have no qualms about giving out your info to other companies for them to contact you.
