Are You Ready To Rock With Bill G?

from the come-on-everybody,-hack-along... dept

theodp writes "To celebrate Bill Gates' visit to Bangalore, Microsoft has released Superhero - The Developer's Song, "a rock song just for our Indian developers," about the life of a programmer, which should make for good listening while you Code 4 Bill. "

i listened for about 30 seconds - sorry. but my ears just couldn't take anymore of it. What I find finny about their download format that they offer, is that their highest quality version isn't even in their own format, WMA... it is in the MP3 format. or am I just being too nit-picky?

i don't even know where to start. ok, maybe that they call this a "rock" song? or maybe the lyrics with such catchy lines as "Staring down at lines on his L.C.D [sic] screen" and "Prays to all his Gods, even Captain Kirk" I really don't know how this won't be a winner! I can't believe it's 1am and this is the most exciting part of my night. i'm a programmer too though. i think tomorrow is where the "magic begins to flow, out to the fore"

the only real funny computer song is Weird Al's Its all about the Pentiums.
Or of course Steve Ballmer's classic hit, DEVELOPERS DEVELOPERS DEVELOPERS DEVELOPERS!!!!
