Oh Look, Another NTP Patent Rejection

from the gee,-what-a-surprise dept

No surprise here, since the USPTO basically said this was exactly what they would do, but they’ve issued another non-final patent rejection for the patents held by NTP. This makes it the fourth of five patents that the USPTO has now rejected twice, and which they’ve made clear they expect to completely reject sometime next year. NTP continues to try to put a positive spin on this, as they drag their feet and hope that the judge in the case sticks by his announced plans to make a decision without paying attention to what the patent office is saying.
