Senators Agree To Disagree On Municipal Broadband
from the lots-of-talk,-lots-of-hot-air dept
In a Senate hearing on municipal broadband efforts today we learned a whole lot of nothing. Basically, Senators who have already stated a position for or against municipal broadband stuck by what they've said before. Speakers at the hearing favored one side or the other, but didn't appear to say anything even remotely original. Those on the fence? Well, it appears they remained on the fence. In other words, a whole lot of nothing was accomplished that could have been accomplished months ago, if Senators had gone out and read some of the news and blog coverage of the whole debate that's been going on for quite some time. Fewer photo ops, though.

Interesting.
So. A post about nothing, critisizing people for doing nothing. Well, that's interesting.

At the end we know that the American people will be screwed over a couple billion dollars on this, just like anything else the Bush administration does..

So what are the technical specs on....
Birdshot from 30'? Doesn't that count as reckless discharge of your gun at least? I mean most people get assault with a deadly weapon for something like that... Of course there are many other charges, negligence, and I'm sure some muti-million dollar attorney is surely not going to press charges. However, there are charges that should be filed including the fact he hid it from authorities weather he is an authority or not. We have just shown to every hard working American that our laws mean nothing for some, but everything for others.
If you're the type of person that shoots your buddies in the face should you really be running our country?

No No really you can in Texas just shoot your buddies while out hunting it's aliright by law to do so... The sheriff's department in Kennedy County, where the 50,000 acre Armstrong ranch is located, said on Monday it had found no misconduct in the incident. "Birdshot to the heart."

Lets not forget this started in the Clinton / Gore days. Bush isn't the only one to blame
