Hungarians Try An Electronic Watergate
from the less-messy dept
It looks like over in Hungary there's a modern version of the Nixon Watergate scandal involving breaking into opposition party headquarters to steal campaign information. Except, this time around, the breaking in was all electronic. The roles were also reversed somewhat, as the opposition party in Hungary has admitted to hacking into the servers of the governing party and downloading nearly 3,000 pieces of campaign related information. The opposition party is apologizing and claiming it was just the over-zealous work of a staff member.

Don't forget the US 'e-watergate'
