If you thought people walking down the street talking into their mobile phone headsets looked odd enough, just wait until mobile phones are completely embedded in your ear. Some researchers have apparently figured out a way to shrink wireless devices even more. They figure the technology may be useful for more embedded wireless systems, as well as getting a bit closer to creating all that "smart dust" we keep hearing about. Still, as with plenty of research projects, it will be quite some time before this technology gets anywhere close to a commercial product.
