Reporting From CTIA Wireless 2005

Techdirt is at CTIA in New Orleans this week, and I'll be making some posts from the show. Also, I'd like to invite Techdirt readers to the session which I am moderating on Tuesday regarding LBS: Location Based Services: When Will the Time be Now? Time: Mar. 15, 2005 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM; Location: Room 271. Essentially, the panel will discuss when we can expect to see LBS emerge in the USA as a practical reality for the mass market. Because of E911, our phones are ready, the networks are ready, so where are the consumer services?
