I don't see how big organizations like the PPCA expect people to blindly conform to their will and accept these outrageous fees. They had to know that there was at least a possibility of it backfiring...
Any kid with Microsoft Word can use the Find and Replace functionality better than he did... and you would think that someone that was so experienced in the industry would be better at lying. :P
Well, following your formula, CNN is connecting with fans (allowing them to report for CNN) and giving them a reason to buy (the extra content on the app), and seems to be doing well from it.
Now that dosen't mean they can't also implement the "report for CNN" elsewhere, but at this time, the current strategy seems to be the winning one.
I guess they forgot how P2P is also used to download and share legitimate things, or how some music groups are using it to spread their newest works, etc.
I haven't looked into it much, but I assume they're offering a torrent as an option, not exclusively requiring users to run a torrent to get the files they need. I hope they don't start moving toward the latter.
Unfortunately, YouTube has been bending over for the record companies as of late. Countless videos have been "ruined" due to their background music being muted.
Doing this is shooting them in the foot, because it causes many people (like me) to explore other services that will meet the needs of the customer base.
Glad to hear Google is doing well, though. They're one of those "little big companies" that just works well.

That's funny, because I haven't used my DVD queue for 8 months...

Hahaha yes. That.
I don't think that's the point (as Xyro TR1)

She got her wish anyways. Entries from this case as well as other results have shown up on the first page of a Yahoo! search of her name.

I disagree with nothing in this article.
The only one performing "unprofessional actions" is the organization conducting the investigation. This should not be necessary at all.
Re: I'm impressed (as Xyro TR1)
I'm so impressed, in fact, that I just bought a copy.

This is one of the most unique ideas I've seen implemented in a long time. Props to him for coming up with such an impressive marketing technique.

I'm just going to say this:
If the iPhone had a slide out QWERTY keyboard (a la HTC smartphones), I would own one. But not until that time.
Re: Tyranny of the Markets (as Xyro TR1)
Too bad the V8 niche market is getting more expensive by the day :(
Re: Re: But, there are two kinds of automatic transmissions (as Xyro TR1)
Uh... hello? They had DSG before it was adapted for the Porsche lineup? Facts. Check 'em.
Re: But, there are two kinds of automatic transmissions (as Xyro TR1)
Actually, it's a dual-clutch manual, not a convential Autotragic transmission (think torque converters)
DSG is one of the best transmissions on the market.
You have no idea (as Xyro TR1)
You have no idea how thrilled I would be if there was a ban on stupidity while driving. I would feel so safe...
Haha (as Xyro TR1)
I wonder if they, themselves, might become "addicted" to the game.

You may recall a few years back Zango sued security software maker Kaspersky for calling its product software.
